Three Phase Power Distribution Box

Three Phase Power Distribution Box
Details:
A three phase power distribution box takes a 400V three-phase supply and splits it into the 16A and 32A ways a site actually uses, in a case one person can carry. Incoming is protected by an isolator and MCCB, each outgoing way has its own MCB or RCBO, and the whole unit stays within a portable footprint.
Every box is wired to the drawing, labelled and routine tested before dispatch, with a test record packed inside the lid.

Three Phase Power Distribution Box

Three-phase power on site usually arrives at one point and has to be spread across floors, cabins and work fronts. A portable box puts that split in a case with handles, so the supply can follow the work instead of the other way round.

Incoming is 400V three-phase through an isolator and MCCB, with 16A and 32A outlets on the outgoing side. Phase rotation, neutral and earth are checked at assembly, so the box can be connected to a generator or a building supply without re-terminating.

Protection, Metering and Portable Build

The box is designed to be carried by one person and connected by an electrician: the case is compact, the cover opens fully, and every way is labelled to match the drawing supplied with the unit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size three phase box do I need?

Add up the connected load of every tool and appliance that may run at once, then check it against the supply available. Most site boxes sit between 32A and 125A incoming with 6 to 12 outgoing ways, and a spare way is worth keeping for later work.

Can a portable box run from a generator?

Yes. The incoming is a standard three-phase connection, and we check phase rotation at assembly. Confirm the generator has a compatible outlet and a suitable earth arrangement before the box is connected.

Which IP rating should I choose?

IP44 suits indoor site use and covered areas. For outdoor work, wash-down or dusty sites, specify IP65 or IP67 and confirm that the plugs and glands match that rating.
